I first looked at shows like Mickey Mouse Club House, Agent OSO, Dora the Explorer again for the kind of stories they had. i had gotten a few ideas for my tv series. I later just looked at the titles of episodes of Agent OSO on Wikipedia and got a few more ideas.
E01: Welcome to Fairy school (Pilot)
The fairies Anna(the cooking fairy) ,
Liz(Elizabeth, the tree fairy) Wake up excited knowing that today is the day a
new fairy, Jane, who is really shy, is going to join them in the quest to help
kids solve their problems. Anna and Liz help Jane learn about the process while
helping a kid make friends on the first day of new school with a few simple
steps from the magic manual.
Step 1 - introduced yourself to others.
Step 2 - talk to them about their likes and
dislikes.
Step 3 - ask them if you can join them
playing.
Step 4 - let the magic do its job.
This also helps Jane become friends with the
other fairies and are awarded the Friends Gold coin.
E02: How to clean a room
Jane, Anna and Liz have messed up their room
pretty bad and the Grand Fairy Luna Violet is angry at them. She tells them to
clean up after finishing their mission, which is to help a little girl clean up
her own room which is in a similar condition. They help the girl in a few
simple steps from the magic manual.
Step 1 - separate out the things.
Step 2 - organise things in cupboards and
drawers neatly.
Step 3 - take out the trash.
After cleaning the girl’s room they are
awarded The Room Cleaner Gold coin. Later, they clean their own room from all
they have learnt.
E03: How to Grow plants
Liz and Jane are trying to grow a flower in
there room but they fail, at the time Luna calls to them and Anna and gives
them a mission to help two friends who are trying to grow a flower patch in
their backyard. The Fairies use these simple steps from the magic manual.
Step 1 - dig a small hole.
Step 2 - plant the seeds.
Step 3 - fill hole the mud.
Step 4 - water the seeds.
Step 5 - nurture with love daily.
They are awarded with The Gardener Gold coin
after the mission and Jane & Liz successfully grow their flower in there
room.
E04: How to Make a Gift card
It's Luna's birthday and Jane, Liz and Anna
are trying to make a gift card for her, when Luna calls them for a mission.
Luna tells them about a brother-sister duo trying to make a mother’s day card
for their mother and need their help. The three fairies swish away to help with
a few simple steps from the magic manual.
Step 1 - cut out a rectangular piece of
paper.
Step 2 - write down the wishes.
Step 3 - decorate with glitter and stickers.
The fairies are awarded The Card Maker Gold
coin. They come back and finish their card and give it to Luna.
E05: How to Clean Your Pet
The young Fairies are trying to catch and
bath their pet Bee but is hiding somewhere, when Luna gives them a mission to
help twin kids to wash their pet dog which keeps hiding from them. They help
the twins with a few simple steps from the magic manual.
Step 1 - lure the dog to the bath tub with
the dog's favourite food.
Step 2 - apply soap on the dog.
Step 3 - rinse and repeat in needed.
Step 4 - dry with a fluffy towel.
After the bathing the dog they are awarded
The Pet Cleaner Gold coin. When the comeback they lure their pet Bee and give
it a bath.
E06: How to go to Sleep
Jane is having trouble sleeping, when Luna
wakes up to give them a emergency mission at night a young boy having trouble
sleeping because he is scared of the monster in the closet. After showing him
nothing is there, he still has problems which they help him with a few simple
steps from the magic manual.
Step 1 - check for monsters in closet.
Step 2 - drink some warm milk.
Step 3 - read a story book.
Step 4 - count 100 backwards.
The Fairies are awarded The Lullaby Gold
coin. Jane is also gone asleep with the boy and the other 2 carry her back to
bed.
E07: How to Break a Break-up
Anna and Liz have a fight and Jane tries to
patch things up when Luna gives them a mission to Break a Break up between 2
girls and a third girl trying to help them come back together with a few simple
steps from the magic manual.
Step 1 - apologise to your friend.
Step 2 - give a simple gift.
Step 3 - hug your friend.
Step 4 - make your friend a charm bracelet to
remember forever.
The 2 girls and the Fairies all patch things
up and are awarded The Best Friends Forever Platinum Coin.
E08: How to make Easter Eggs
Easter is near and the
fairies are trying to help the Easter bunny decorate Easter eggs but something
is not right. The Grand fairy Luna gives them a mission to help a boy who
is trying to decorate eggs. They help the boy with a few simple steps from the
magic manual.
Step 1 - chose the right egg.
Step 2 - due eggs using colour water.
Step 3 - paint a pattern on the eggs.
Step 4 - finish with glitter or stickers.
After completing the mission they are awarded
The Easter Decorator and finish the decorating their eggs and hide them.
E09: How to
Make a Volcano
Anna is trying to
make a chocolate volcano, but it keeps blowing up when Jane,Liz and Luna enter
and get covered by Chocolate sauce. Luna laughs and gives them a mission to
help out a boy who is making a baking soda volcano for the science fair. The
Fairies help him out using few simple steps from the magic manual.
Step 1 -Make a
volcano shape mould
Step 2 -Add some warm
water
Step 3 -Add some
detergent
Step 4 - Add some
baking soda
Step 5 - Slowly pour
vinegar in the mix
The three fairies
help the boy and are awarded The Scientist Gold coin. Anna comes back and
successfully makes her Chocolate volcano.
E10: How to
Sell Some Lemonade
It's a hot summer
morning and the fairies are all thirsty and lazy on the bed when Luna gives
them a mission to help out two friends make and sell some lemonade. The three
fairies jump up at and run to help the friends with help of the magic manual.
Step 1 - Squeeze the
lemons
Step 2 - Add some
sugar
Step 3 - Set up a
stall with the board Lemonade
The three fairies help sell all the lemonade and they
themselves drink a nice amount of it and are awarded The Merchant Gold coin.
In Agent OSO all titles had a theme, they all sounded like James Bond movies and another show called 2 Broke girls, all the Episodes start with "And"(except the first one) like telling a stories. So, I decided to give a theme to my tv series episode titles. I thought about the show,which is teaching the audience on how to do thing and decide on "how to" as tag line for each episode.
Script
For the script, it was easy, I already had a episode sturcture decided(in my previous blog- http://ankush-abm.blogspot.in/2016/01/tv-seires-aims-and-synopsis.html ) and started writing the story.
E01: Welcome to Fairy school (Pilot)
SCENE 1. FAIRIES BEDROOM.
LIZ and ANNA are sleeping in their room. The room has three
beds next to the three walls.
ANNA wakes up suddenly with her eyes open wide and a huge on
her face. She is cheerful and enthusiastic.
ANNA
(She is happy and a bit of excitement in her voice.)
It is the day! It is today. It’s finally today.
ANNA runs to LIZ in the next bed and starts pounding on her.
ANNA
Wake up LIZ its the day. Wake up.
LIZ wakes up, still sleepy and runs her eyes.
LIZ
I am up. I am up. Stop pounding me.
ANNA flys half way to the door.
ANNA
Let’s go already, we might miss it.
LIZ gets out of bed and both fly out of the room.
SCENE 2. THE STUDY.
The Grand Fairy LUNA VIOLET is standing in the corner next
to a pod tending it. The pod is emitting a light in uneven
intervals. ANNA and LIZ fly in to the room.
ANNA
Did we miss it? Did we?
LUNA
No you are just in time.
All three Fairies surround the pod when the pod starts to
shake and pops. The whole room fills with fairy dust and as
the dust settles a fairy emerges out where the pod was. The
Fairy looks shy. ANNA and LIZ cough a little and clear the
air in front of them. Luna goes towards the JANE.
LUNA
Hello there. My name is Luna. What
is your name?
JANE
(Shy fully)
Hi there. I’m Jane. I am a leaf fairy.
LUNA
Welcome to fairy school.
ANNA
She is so beautiful. I could just eat her.
LIZ
Hey I’m Elizabeth but always, I
mean always call me LIZ.
JANE
That’s a nice name.
JANE looks at her back and takes a step forward. She shakes
her back and her wings open up wide and release some fairy
dust.
ANNA
Wow those look beautiful. You need
to try flying let’s go.
The telescope in the background lights up and LUNA notices
it.
LUNA
Wait! I think you have mission.
LUNA looks through the telescope and sees a lonely girl at
new school trying to make friends.
LUNA turns to ANNA LIZ and JANE
LUNA
Here is your mission. Go help her
out to make some new friends.
JANE goes to go out of the room. ANNA stops her.
ANNA
Where are you going?
JANE
To help the kid.
ANNA
Yes but we first need to get some
stuff from the magic closet.
JANE
What is the magic closet?
LIZ
Woow! You really need to learn a lot.
ANNA
Follow us, you will love it.
ANNA, JANE, LIZ, and LUNA all walk out of the room.
