RESEARCH

This is a RSA brief given to us. It requires us to create a video for a Audio clip. We had to choose between 2 clips. I choose the one called "Curiosity-a muscle use it or loose it"

Curiosity is defined as(or I define it as) the desire to :-

• Know something you don’t know
• Gain knowledge of the unknown in front of you
• Learn how the world works or to destroy it

FINAL IDEA

The final idea I choose from the 3 is this one which is further developed.

SHEEP(synopsis)

My idea is a turnover of the Sheep idea. Open with Sheep being counted by a woman, suddenly a snore and sheep disappear. After a moment the sheep return to being counted, another louder snore and sheep vanish. Cut to a woman waking up and hitting her husband with a pillow. Narrator voice comes in and gives Snoreeze to her. He explains the product and how it works. She gives it to her husband to use. End with the couple sleeping in a bed happily in a farm surrounded by sleeping sheep.

Snoreeze Advert - 3 IDEAS

3 IDEAS

We had to come up with 3 ideas for the Advert. which was a big headache.

First Idea

Synopsis

My first idea is inspired by the previous snoeerze advert. The idea is to open with a women sleeping at work. A narrator would co-relate her by asking "sleepy at work" "then can you not focus properly".Then shift to a man sleeping on bed and soaring "you or your partner snore". Then the product is introduced and shown how to use it. End with a couple happily sleeping on bed.

Second Idea

Synopsis

After a moment the sheep return to bring counted, another louder roar and sheep vanish. Cut to a woman waking up and hitting her husband with a pillow. Narrator voice comes in and gives snoreeze to her. He explained the product and how it works. She gives it to her husband to use. End with both sleeping in a bed happily in a farm surrounded by sleeping sheep.

Third Idea

Synopsis

My third idea is inspired by a lot of adverts. Mostly medical product adverts. Open with a scene outside the house with a few animals like dogs squirrels rabbits all sleeping, a loud snore wakes them up. Cut to a room with a kid sleeping another loud snow wakes him up. Cut to a room with a couple another snore wake her up. Picking up her pillow, she exists the room while speaking with a narrator about all the things she tried all products she tried. He introduced snoreeze to her, her husband users it. The narrator explains how it works. End with a couple sleeping happily then a scene outside the house all animals sleeping happily dolly upwards to show product poster.

I choose the second Idea to further develop as its more nice and the ending of bed surronded by sheep is not beatable

RESEARCH

We were given a professional brief to create a advertisement for the roduct Snoreeze(snoring relief product). our first job was to research into the product and stuff. Also to create a design board.

My Design board is 

i choose a colour scheme similar to the product packaging as it helps with branding of the product.

The font styles, I choosed these ones cause it looks like clouds and soft which reminds of happy sleep.

i wanted a flat coloured 2D style with a mix of 3D animation for a certain shot.

Character Deisgning

Summer Project AX2001-Character Designing

We were given an assignment over the summer to create 3 Characters and front and side walk cycle. The characters had the theme of misanthrope. 

Character 1- Johnny Large Hands

My first character is a guy with huge hands. So i choose is occupation as a woodcutter. He is a good guy with a kind heart and doesn't harm people. He lives in the forest cause he doesn't like people to make fun of his freakishly huge hands.

Physical description:-

• Large hands
• Blonde hair
• Freaky eyebrows
• Always carries a tool kit belt
• Tilted eyes

Character 2- Lone Pirate

My second character is a Dwarf who lost his eye saving a child and lost his right arm protecting a women. After losing 2 body parts he lost interest in humanity and started life of a lone pirate on a small one man ship.

Physical description:-

• Dwarf – 3.5 ft.
• Large feet
• Right arm missing
• An eye patch over left eye
• Always equipped with a futuristic gun that fires laser bullet
• Always wears a sash and belt filled with ammo

Character 3- Old Hag

My third character was thrown out by her family when she was a baby, cause of her ugly looks. She grew on the streets of the town.In her young age she got kicked out of society has she scared the little kids and people thought she was a bad omen. She moved to the outer skirts of the town, near a forest, into a cave of her own where she lived and scared away all the people who tried to come near her. She grew her life there where she got older and also uglier.

Physical description:-

• Has a large head
• Long creepy nails
• Long pointy downward Nose
• Uses a stick to walk as her back is weak and broken cause of her age
• No hair

I choose to make a walk cycle of this character and i prefer to animate in Maya so i started the modelling and finally
